We recently purchased an older home and had a surprisingly difficult time finding a responsive electrician. After reading Grounded Electric’s great reviews, we reached out — and they absolutely lived up to them.

Bobby and Barrett came out quickly and did an incredibly thorough walkthrough of the entire house. They took the time to understand decades of different electrical work, explain what actually needed attention, and help us build a phased plan for future projects. We especially appreciated that they never tried to push unnecessary work or get us to spend everything upfront. Their honesty, knowledge, communication, and customer service immediately gave us confidence.

Kyle and Kyle then came out to complete the work and were equally excellent — professional, personable, courteous, and extremely thorough. They addressed grounding and outlet issues, old wiring, open junction boxes, a broken GFCI, and several other items that left us feeling much better about the safety of our home.

From Bobby and Barrett to Kyle and Kyle, everyone we worked with was fantastic. Grounded Electric is reliable, honest, highly knowledgeable, and clearly interested in building long-term relationships with their customers. We already plan to use them for future projects and would recommend them without hesitation.

I cannot recommend Grounded Electric Company enough! My contact, Barret, was super quick to respond and extremely accommodating with my schedule, fitting me in for an appointment on the same day.

Barret and Bobby came out to my house and did a thorough, detailed inspection of all the electrical damage caused by a recent thunderstorm. Not only did they safely remove our burnt whole-house surge protector, but they also took the time to explain things and share some great electrical knowledge. Their pricing was more than fair for all the work they did.

They are super professional, highly knowledgeable, and easygoing. I would use them every single time!

Two storms that knocked out power in my town (Closter). Finally decided to bite the bullet and just put in a generator. Barret, Bobby, Kyle and the team at Grounded Electric put in a beautiful 28kW Generac in for us. The work was done flawlessly, integrated well with our house.

Honest, professional, high quality work. Could not recommend them enough

I'm very satisfied for obtaining Grounded Electric's services.

My washer and dryer would not turn on and I noticed my breaker for that was wet (oddly it was the only one).

I called and the owner, Barret, and he and his colleague was able to come to my home the same day. Luckily for me, only that breaker was replaced for a small fee. They stated that it appeared that there wasn't a need to replace the entire board. They advised a wait and see approach and provided me tips to avoid this issue in the future.

I would highly recommend them. They were poignant, communicative, respectful, and seemed trustworthy.
